The diversification of products under the pressure of a growing global market has resulted in the need to increase the number of lubricant solutions to fulfill emerging and more demanding application requirements.
Not always, however, do the available consolidated solutions held by a manufacturer overlap perfectly with the technical pre-requisites and the application of another component. The design requirements and variables in play are manifold and may require the construction of a new lubricant, and/or adjustment of certain parameters in an existing product.
In this regard Macon Research has developed a flexible and versatile production system, such as to allow the modulation of production recipes through ADD-ON technology: adding ingredients and additives that synergistically cover a specific function with respect to the already existing functional aspects of a lubricating fluid.
Below are listed the main functional aspects of a lubricant, continuously updated and with regard to which research, development and consequent product optimization are ongoing:
