When the operating conditions, the critical application, and the materials involved do not allow enough room for manoeuvre, the choice must be directed toward completely synthetic lubricant solutions of a fluorinated nature.
Fluorine, with its exceptional chemical properties and its high electronegativity appropriately linked to carbon and oxygen atoms, generates polymer chains with high chemical stability, unparalleled in many respects, and which is unreachable by saturated cyclic polyolefins, polyesters and siloxane compounds in nature.
Inflammability, possibility of lubrication in the presence of oxygen, high thermal stability with hydrodynamic lubrication up to 300°C, chemical resistance, reduced loss through evaporation, inertia against plastic and elastomeric materials... a long series of advantages compared to traditional lubrication, wherein a synthetic lubricant is not yet effective, the solutions are: Fluorocorr, Fluorogrease and Fluorofluid!
Fluorofluid B-85 | PFPE | -- | -60 + 300°C | Plunger contactor and electrical switch |
Fluorovac - H | PFPE | -- | -- | Turbo-molecular, rotary diffusion pumps |
Fluorofluid B- 100 | PFPE | -- | -30 + 300°C | Air conditioning system valve seal rings, R-134a compatibility |
