The distribution of energy and related transmission signals in the electronics, hi-tech, and automotive sectors complement each other through the use of separable Monocore, coaxial or multipin connections.
With the aim of reducing the contact resistance, the noise transmission, or the risk of signal interruption, the connecting pins and contact antibodies are covered in precious metals: either gold alloys, silver or other metals at low electrical intensity.
The electrical connectors often operate in the presence of high frequency vibrations, and a simple prolonged contact time in the presence of micro-stresses, with considerable temperature differences of 50-60°C, produces an inevitable gradual removal of the top surface layer that covers the guarantor parts of the transmission signal; all this produces a loss of signal and irregular functioning.
Macon Research has developed a series of solutions for the lubrication of separable connectors, with the aim of maintaining a constant contact resistance over time with subsequent increases in the average length of the connector.
The use of lubricants for electrical connectors plays a fundamental role in breaking insertion forces, and this involves a reduction in the risk of damage to the connection surfaces during cabling operations.
